FEAST FEST LONDON WILL BRING MORE THAN JUST FOOD TO VICTORIA PARK, SEPT 22-24

Sept 6, 2017

Feast Fest London will bring more than just food to Victoria Park, Sept 22-24
(LONDON, ON)

The inaugural Feast Fest London will bring an array of food vendors, beverages, music and entertainment programming to Victoria Park, downtown London, September 22-24. The three-day event offers free admission for all-ages including free evening concerts, with Friday night country headliner Jojo Mason and Saturday night Classic Rock headliners Honeymoon Suite. Although the concerts are all ages, the licensed beer gardens will be 19+ after 8pm. Free entry and stage visibility will be granted on a first-come first-serve basis.

The Festival weekend includes a kids zone (11am-8pm Saturday & Sunday), a multitude of food vendors, all-day live entertainment and a Caesar Sunday promotion offering $5 Caesars all day. The Festival is open to the public Friday Noon-11pm, Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 11am-8pm (Sept 22-24). All food options can be found on the festival website and social media accounts.

Feast Fest has already made visits to Sudbury & Midland this year, with Midland attendance being the peak of the season so far with an official Town reported weekend attendance of over 70,000 people. “The collaboration with the Town of Midland created synergies and results, which far surpassed our expectations." comments Feast Fest organizer Paul Fairley. "The Feast Fest weekend in London is expected to draw over 25,000 people, but as a first year event it is very difficult to predict."

We are experiencing great traction for our first year event." comments Festival Partner Lisa Groves. "I've been involved in a successful event in Barrie, ON that started 46 years ago with 20 vendors. Today that same event has over 2,000 vendors. It takes time to grow an annual sustainable festival. We are in it for the long haul.” Lisa’s family recently sold Burls Creek in Oro, which now hosts Boots & Hearts, Wayhome, The Big Feastival and (Lisa's own event) the Barrie Automotive Flea Market.
