Budweiser New Music Fest 2017 Lineup Announced!

The 10th annual Budweiser New Music Fest will be held at Bell Park, Sudbury, Sept 15-16. The 2017 festival lineup features performances by Aaron Pritchett, Finger Eleven, The Glorious Sons, River Town Saints with more to be announced.

New Music Fest originated in Barrie, ON, which organizers have since produced in Barrie, London & Sudbury, ON. This year marks the 10th annual for the event, being solely produced in Sudbury in 2017. “We found Sudbury to be a great home for the annual festival”, comments festival director, Paul Fairley. “Since 2012, we’ve been very pleased with the support and patron response the festival has received from the community. It’s very exciting for us to be hosting our 10th annual here in Sudbury.”

New Music Fest is in support of the Sudbury Food Bank.

Patrons who drop off non-perishable food (or cash) donations for the Food Bank at Lockerby Confectionery between now and the festival (Sept 15, 2017) will be entered to win a VIP Meet & Greet with a festival artist of their choice.

Patrons who bring non-perishable food (or cash) donations to the event gates between 5-8pm (Sept 15 or 16) will also be entered to upgrade their tickets to VIP w/ Artists Meet & Greets that evening!

Aside from this event, you may always make donations in person at the Sudbury Food Bank warehouse located at 1105 Webbwood Drive, Sudbury (Monday-Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-5:00pm) or visit www.sudburyfoodbank.ca


FESTIVAL HISTORY

New Music Fest originated in Barrie, ON in 2008 and expanded to include Sudbury, ON in 2012. Artists who have performed with New Music Fest in the past include Big Wreck, Monster Truck, The Tea Party, USS, Ian Thornley, Classified, July Talk, The Glorious Sons, Moist, Tim Hicks, Mother Mother, Kira Isabella, Scott Weiland, Down With Webster, The Trews, Big Sugar, Treble Charger, The Reason, illScarlett, Steph Lang, The Balconies, Arkells, Young Empires, Crash Karma, One Bad Son and a long list of Canada’s hardest working indie bands and musicians.
