The 9th annual Budweiser New Music Fest has just announced their 2016 lineup, which features MOTHER MOTHER, USS, AA Wallace, Golden Gate Graves & more. Budweiser New Music Fest 2016 will take place at Grace Hartman Amphitheatre (Bell Park), 900 Paris St, Sudbury, ON on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
Early-bird festival tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 3rd, 10 am! Tickets will be available at Lockerby Confectionery located at 1513 Paris St Sudbury, or online at NewMusicFest.ca
Festival headliner is Vancouver quintet MOTHER MOTHER. The three-time JUNO-nominated indie rock band are undoubtedly birds of a new sonic evolution. 2017 sees the release of Mother Mother’s sixth album, following the highly successful and critically acclaimed Very Good Bad Thing, with such hits as Get Out The Way and Monkey Tree.
Direct support to Mother Mother is CASBY Award-winning and JUNO-nominated alternative dance musical duo, Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (USS). USS is best known for their single “Yin Yang,” from their Advanced Basics album that debuted at No. 21 on Canadian Modern Rock Charts. This song, the second single from the duo’s fourth album, is their biggest debut to date and is the follow-up to their highest charting song, the No. 4 Modern Rock hit “This Is The Best.” Upon release of Advanced Basics on Feb 11, 2014, the record quickly climbed to number 2 on iTunes Canada.
