The 6th annual Budweiser New Music Fest Barrie powered by Mady was heard across the city this past weekend (July 19 & 20) with over 50 performances at multiple venues.
The Festival Headliner Concert sold out attracting over 1,700 people on Saturday, July 20 to Heritage Park, featuring performances by Big Wreck, USS, Crash Karma, The Reason, Young Empires, Golden Gate Graves, & Autumns Cannon. It was the second year that New Music Fest Barrie producers Admiral Live hosted the outdoor concert.
“This year’s festival, especially considering the sold-out outdoor component, was an amazing success for our team”, comments Festival Director, Paul Fairley. “There are so many hard-working contributors, sponsors, and enthused patrons to thank. It was a very exciting, smooth-running event, highly enjoyed by all who attended.”
