Organizers of Barrie’s largest summer festival have announced their concert headliners performing at this year’s Kempenfest, taking place August 2-5, 2024 at Barrie’s waterfront. The announcement coincides with the unveiling of a festival rebranding effort, including a new festival logo and slogan after 20 years!
The 2024 OLG MainStage concerts will include:
Friday Aug 2nd, DOWN WITH WEBSTER, w/ LØLØ, Flight 97, and Kyle Wauchope
Saturday Aug 3rd, MATTHEW GOOD and His Band, w/ Crown Lands, Bleeker, and Grant Boyer
Sunday Aug 4th, TYLER JOE MILLER, w/ Teigan Gayse, Parker Graye, and Julia Middleton
Monday Aug 5th, THE CARPET FROGS w/ The Faculty

FESTIVAL REBRAND
Kempenfest’s new logo was inspired by the former colourful logo, however the new logo is a strong, bold font with new brand colours filling in the letters emphasizing on “fest”.
“We wanted to create a logo that is easily used in all mediums over all imagery and colours to ensure continuity and consistency. There is so much going on at Kempenfest, we wanted a logo that forces some white space around the name and demands attention with clear visibility” – Shanna Dennis, Owner of Enticity Rebrand Agency.
Kempenfest’s new slogan, “Come one, come all.” highlights the festival’s vision to host a vibrant celebration that brings people together from all ethnicities and backgrounds, for an unforgettable experience year after year.
Locally owned rebrand agency Enticity, collaborated with Admiral Live (event producer), and Kempenfest’s Board Members to create and guide the new logo and rebrand strategy.

Kempenfest has once again been recognized in FEO’s (Festivals & Events Ontario) Top 100, at their recent annual conference and awards show in Niagara Falls.
