Original members, singer Greg Godovitz, guitarist Gino Scarpelli and drummer Doug Inglis of Goddo will be performing live at Sound Empire downtown Barrie, Friday, October 4th as part of the band’s 35th Anniversary Reunion Tour. That same weekend, on Sunday, October 6th, EOne Music Canada presents “The Pretty Bad Boys Return” Goddo’s 35th Reunion Concert Film, screening at the Uptown Theatre, 55 Dunlop St West, Barrie.
Both the Friday concert and Sunday reunion film screening will have camera crews on-site, capturing additional footage for the band’s upcoming documentary film, scheduled for release in 2014.
Goddo formed in 1975 and released the single Louie Louie on A&M Records Canada. In 1977, the band was signed to Polydor Records and its self-titled debut album was released later that year. The group followed up their debut release with ‘If Indeed It’s Lonely At The Top… Who Cares… It’s Lonely At The Bottom Too’ in 1978, ‘An Act of Goddo’ in 1979, and their chart-topping ‘Pretty Bad Boys’ in 1981.
