CASBY Award-winning artists Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (USS) will be returning to Barrie, as part of their Cross-Canada “Advanced Basics Tour” coming to Sound Empire, Friday, Feb 28th.
Their last two Barrie concerts have sold out, including the New Music Fest Barrie lakeshore concert this past summer with USS, Big Wreck, Crash Karma, and over 1,800 attendees! This time they return to play Barrie’s own 1,200 capacity entertainment complex, Sound Empire.
“Yin Yang,” the new single from USS, has debuted at No. 21 on Modern Rock and No. 36 on the overall Canadian Rock Charts. This song, the second single from the duo’s upcoming fourth album, is their biggest debut to date on both charts and is the follow-up to their highest charting song, the No. 4 Modern Rock hit “This Is The Best.”
Their sound is as hard to describe as their name is to say. Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker, better known as USS, is like a campfire after-party with a jungle-rave vibe, progressively two-stepping their way to a dance folk cuddle. Pure intention is the scope they aim through, eliciting dance-floor eruptions is what they’re known for.
Limited advanced tickets are available online via AdmiralLive.ca/events, or in person at Tropical North Surf Shop (42 Dunlop Street East, downtown Barrie).
